HOW TO ENHANCE VAPIG
The first vaping experience is often a disappointment – this is often due to the fact that many new users forget that a vaporizer is not a cigarette. Used correctly, however, it can achieve the effect that smokers long for – it just requires a little adjustment.
Knowing how to properly vape is key to enjoying your experience and something that is often not considered when buying that first e-cigarette kit.
From the right way to inhale the vapor, to finding the best e-liquid that suits your needs, your vaping experience can be improved with a little research.
For this reason, you can read here how to vape properly.
1. Choosing the right e-liquid
With a choice between Propylene Glycol (PG) or Vegetable Glycerin (VG) e-liquids, it can often be difficult to find the right liquid for your needs. The first carrier provides a more intense flavor with a stronger effect, while the other creates more vapor as you exhale.
A choice is best made after experimenting with both. And once you’ve found the right carrier for you, your vaping experience will be vastly improved.
2. The first move
Since the e-cigarette has a heating coil that causes the e-liquid to evaporate, the first puff acts as a catalyst to start your vaping experience.
The first puff is performed by holding the button down for a few seconds before slowly inhaling for two to three seconds to properly start the vaporization.
3. Do you inhale the steam?
Although it is often believed that e-cigarette vapor must be inhaled like standard cigarettes, this is not true. Similar to chewing tobacco, the nicotine can be absorbed through the mucous membrane in the mouth.
Inhalation is therefore not absolutely necessary. Many former smokers prefer to inhale because of their addiction at the time, but a vaporizer can deliver the same amount of nicotine without inhaling.
4. Are short or long trains better?
With normal cigarettes, short puffs are more effective. However, since e-cigarettes require a liquid to vaporize, not enough liquid can flow through the heating element in short puffs, resulting in an unsatisfactory vaping experience.
Slow, longer trains are therefore perceived as more satisfying by many users. In addition, this of course eliminates the possibility of accidentally ingesting excess e-liquid. If you are new to vaping, you should definitely avoid the second option!
5. How do you inhale the vapor correctly?
Experienced vapers advise new e-cigarette users to take three to seven puffs and then hold the vapor in their mouth for a few seconds. After that, you can either exhale directly or inhale the vapor with a pull of the lungs.
For those who want to smoke on the lungs, keep in mind that the smoke from a cigarette reaches the lungs within eight seconds, while the vapor from an e-cigarette takes 30 seconds to be absorbed by the body.
This is due to the fact that the molecules of the vapor are much larger than those of the smoke of normal cigarettes and cannot be absorbed as deeply into the lungs.
6. How long do you have to wait between vaping?
To ensure a long life for your e-cigarette, it is advisable to wait a few minutes after each vaping so that the heating element can cool down. Waiting a few minutes will also help prevent a scratchy throat, irritation, and damage to the taste buds called the “vaper tongue”.
7. How to vape properly – is there a right and wrong way?
Despite our recommendations above, there really is no “right” or “wrong” way to vape as long as you avoid short puffs. Often people experiment with new liquids, different voltages and wattages and try out how long the steam should be held in the mouth and whether to exhale through the nose or mouth. Everyone has their own approach and preference when it comes to vaping, and that’s perfectly fine whichever you choose.
